I just finished my first cross stitch for someone that I know, my mom's co worker who just had a baby. It is a 'Baby's First Christmas' pictured here (in the big book review)

I think that I'm going to edge it with some lace from my Mom's collection (I kid you not, she has an entire shelf devoted to lace) and another piece of Aida.
